Hosted by Emma Karasjoki, the series follows six well-known public figures as they search for a life partner and go on blind dates — stripped of their usual makeup and styling. After the makeup-free dates, each single chooses one of the candidates for a second date.

Each episode focuses on the story of one single, with the other participants and the host acting as a supportive presence throughout the journey. Sinkut paljaana invites viewers to engage with both light-hearted dating and deeper questions: are the singles ready to reveal themselves — both outwardly and inwardly?

With five seasons produced, Sinkut paljaana is based on Sony Pictures Television’s Beauty Queen and Single format.
